I am Dr. Vijay Ganapathy, a native of the French city of Pondicherry. After a memorable schooling in Petit Seminaire High School, I pursued my MBBS at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences under Pondicherry University.
I completed my Master’s in Surgery from JIPMER, Puducherry, graduating as the topper with a gold medal. I then took a leap forward by completing my Urological Residency (MCh) at the Institute of Nephrourology, Bengaluru — a high-volume center specializing in laparoscopy and renal transplants.
My sub-specialization in Andrology was achieved through fellowships at Singapore General Hospital and NUHS, Singapore. My research in Urodynamics earned me the Urogynaecology Fellowship from the International Continence Society (ICS), Florence, supported by an ICMR travel grant.
I also presented a pioneering study on the efficacy of T. Pregabalin in stent removal at the World Congress of Endourology in Paris, 2018.
My current areas of focus include scarless/keyhole surgeries for stone diseases and vascular access for patients with kidney failure. I am deeply committed to raising awareness about Men’s Health — an under-discussed, yet crucial issue.
Men’s health remains a taboo in many societies, often under-acknowledged and overlooked. My vision is to spark change through open dialogue and informed decisions.
I focus on minimally invasive, scarless procedures and personalized care plans to manage kidney stones, urethral issues, and more — combining cutting-edge technology with compassionate healthcare.
My broader aim is to empower men through awareness — because if health is wealth, then awareness is the path to it.
My clinical journey is rooted in the belief that informed healthcare leads to better outcomes. Through national and international training, hands-on fellowships, and global research presentations, I strive to deliver excellence in urology and men's health.
